Xulu wont run, please help

Hi, I have tried to run from the installed Icon and from the website, neither running for me.

Is the game up and running or is the install/registration just up atm game will be soon?

Any help is appreciated.

Hello, Salival. Welcome to Xulu.

The server is running, so we just need to get your client situation straightened out. Where in the process are you stuck?

• Download the installer from the website

• Run the installer

• Once the installation is complete, run the Xulu launcher executable (or the Xulu shortcut on your desktop)

• The laucher will try to update your game client.

• Once the launcher is done updating, you can use the "Enter Xulu" button on the right of the laucher to enter the game.

• The game will display a splash screen while it loads the world.

• Once it's done loading, you're in.

Yes i downloaded the installed and ran it without issue, i tried running from the shortcut and directly from the launcher but nothing seems to work, maybe a compatibility issue? im Running Win 7 x64

Ok i see the process in task manager, seems to be running idle, nothing to show me a possible updating etc. I did relog etc, no luck.

When you run the executable, does the launcher pop-up or does nothing happen? If you don't see the launcher pop-up, go to your task manager and see if you have "xNode.exe" listed under the processes tab. Let me know if you do/don't see it or if you do not know how to open/use the task manager.

Ok, its running as should now.

Appears the Samsung Kies process (Phone software) was causing the problem, ended that process and the updater is now running.

FYI, i only tried closing that process as i have had issues with it recently causing other applications not to load. I think its time to uninstall.

Cool, I'm glad you were able to get it to run. I was actually waiting for a co-worker to forward me the details on a fix for a similar issue we've seen in the past.

That's interesting about the phone software, though. It's definitely not something that has come up before.
