Crashes during game start

I've been getting crashes when trying to start up the game recently and can't get into the world for the Halloween event. Every crash comes with an error and I've sent in my crash logs every time, but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to help in fixing this solution. This is happening when trying to enter the world. The base launcher works fine and I can enter venue builder and customization without issues.

This is the pop up error every time: Expresion '*((DWORD*)loc)==*((DWORD*)m_ddsMagic)' returned false - file grTexture.cpp, line 290

Worst to worst, could I send in a pic of my avatar from the avatar customization menu for the contest?

I'm not sure why your issue hasn't been addressed yet, but I'll look into it first thing tomorrow morning. Also, yes, you can submit a pic from the customizer.

Icefall,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

It seems that a texture file got corrupted. Could you please try to manually delete the folder that contains it and try again?
- open a file browser and type %programdata% in the location bar
- from there, go to Xulu\content\textures\ShootingRangeComponents\
- delete the entire subfolder named Targets\

Please let me know if this solves the issue.

Thanks,
Crocoduck

Thanks, that error doesn't seem to be coming up now, but my client seems to be not wanting to connect at all to the servers. I've even tried after fresh reboot of my system and modem/router with nothing else I know of sharing the bandwidth. I'm able to get file updates from the launcher page, but when it moves to go into the game itself, I keep getting connection errors.
